Project: Crafting an adaptable desk design in modern style, flowing around the adjoining walls for more space

The client, a homeowner choosing work-life balance, conveyed his requirements for made-to-measure storage that neatly stacked her collection of books and documents. We communicated it to our team of expert craftsmen and positioned the open shelves over the desk for her to reach for everything she needs. We also incorporated concealed shelves and a chest of drawers to stow stationery items out of sight. Since a single desk is insufficient to accommodate the working space, we utilised the room’s long layout to double up the workspace for her to keep his laptop and other office essentials.

We have also given the cabinetry and the desk a two-tone finish while keeping in mind a classy and modernistic approach. The dark tone stands against the natural wood finish of this space to present an air of warmth while staying professional. We presented her with shelves with the finish of built-in lights on them. She appreciated that immensely, as it was an idea we came up with. It underlines all her decorative stuff beautifully, making her home office cosy and inviting.
