A homeowner came to us looking to improve storage and make their bedroom function better on a day-to-day basis. The room felt disjointed in its layout, with unused wall space and a window area that was not being put to good use. From the outset, the aim was to introduce a clear structure that added function without making the space feel enclosed.
We collaborated with the customer to construct full-height wardrobes that included a built-in window seat. The wardrobes provide ample concealed storage while maintaining a clean, uncluttered design. The window seat serves as a natural focal point while also providing useful storage and a comfortable place to relax. Open shelving at one end breaks up the run of cabinetry and allows for personal objects, providing character without overwhelming the area.
The customer now enjoys a more balanced, organised, and user-friendly environment. The seating space is functional for daily use, the storage is well-organised, and the incorporated lighting improves the entire atmosphere. The completed design transforms the area into a coherent and appealing place that is both functional and comfortable.
