Client: A homeowner looking to bring order to the main bedroom without crowding the space.
Project: Fitted wardrobe installation for a bedroom
Materials Used: Painted shaker-style wardrobe doors, full-height fitted wardrobe framework, brushed brass door handles
This client’s brief was straightforward. The family demanded plenty of storage for clothes and linens, clean lines across the wall, and a calm bedroom atmosphere that still felt warm and lived in.
On arrival for an inspection, we discovered that the bedroom had a generous wall that was going largely unused. Our idea was simple: turn that wall into proper storage while keeping the room light and balanced.
We crafted the wardrobes to run the full width of the space, rising neatly to the ceiling. After installing, the client appreciated our efforts, for the wall now reads as one continuous piece rather than several separate units. The client quoted, “It’s tidy. Quiet. Exactly what a bedroom should feel like at the end of a long day.”
Storage was the real driver here. We delivered deep hanging sections, shelving for folded items, and space for seasonal pieces. It’s exactly the sort of layout that makes getting dressed in the morning quicker and keeps the bedroom from turning into a clothes pile by the weekend.
Regarding the doors, we have followed a classic panelled style. There’s something reassuring about that design. It feels familiar and works comfortably with the soft tones in the room. Brass handles add just enough contrast without stealing the show.
We have kept the overall palette leaning warm and neutral. It’s evident from the cream wardrobes, soft textiles and natural wood. It’s calm on the eye and practical in everyday life. Exactly the sort of bedroom most people are hoping for when they ask for fitted wardrobes.
Step back, and the balance becomes obvious. The bed is centred in the room. Wardrobes stretching across the wall. A dressing table tucked beside the window for natural light. Everything sits where it should.
